Introduction
Sir Peter Blake was one of New Zealand’s most famous yachtsman. He had many sailing victories to his credit including the Whitbread Round the World Yacht Race in 1989–90 and the America’s Cup in 1995 and again in 2000. He was also very interested in the environment and conservation.
